The Sertoma Family
There are approximately 500 Sertoma clubs located in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico with approximately 13.000 members.
Sertoma is an acronym for "Service to Mankind". Our motto is "Making Life Worthwhile". Sertoma was founded in Kansas City, MO in 1912 and is the third oldest civic service organization in existence. Collectively, Sertomans raise about $20 million dollars annually through local club fundraisers. All the money stays within the individual clubs for local community sponsorships and distribuition.
While Clubs have always served the local needs of our communities, whatever they may be, we share in Sertoma's national mission of hearing health to improve the quality of life today for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support.
