Sertoma in the Ozarks.

Sertoma Club of Springfield:
Chartered on 7/12/41 by a Joplin Sertoma Club, this is the oldest club in Springfield. Its partnership with the Springfield Boys & Girls Clubs goes back 67 years when it took over support of the original Springfield Boys Club. Today, this all men's club with more than 100 members is a thriving member of the Sertoma family. Springfield Club's largest fundraiser is the annual Wingapalooza - a hot wings competition supported by area restaurants. An evening of great music, hot wings, and auction fun. This club meets every Thursday at noon.
Heart of the Ozarks Sertoma Club (HOTO):
Chartered on 11/19/69 by the Springfield Sertoma Club - Heart of the Ozarks is another all men's club in Springfield and also enjoys a 100+ membership. HOTO was started to provide a broader base of support for the Springfield Boys & Girls Clubs and over the years they have been a driving force for Sertoma in the Ozarks. This club started the annual Chili Cookoff, which takes place late in the first quarter of the year in conjunction with Springfield Club and Queen City.  HOLA, Tri Lakes, 4C's Stockton clubs help in this large fundraiser.  The club's longest continuing fundraiser continues to be BINGO! This club meets every Friday at noon.
Queen City Sertoma Club:
Club chartered on 2/15/99 by the Heart of the Ozarks Sertoma Club and is a women's membership club. Queen City has 3 major fundraising events.  Bunco Gone Wild is held in the fall, Holiday Wreath Sales following that, and the annual Cajun Cookoff in the spring being the largest event.  This club meets every Monday at 5:30 p.m.
All-Star Smiles Sertoma Club:
This coed club chartered 6/5/02 by the Heart of the Ozarks Sertoma Club. The sponsorship of this club is to aide in annual funding for the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile also known as "The Tooth Truck" - a mobile dental care unit providing services to underprivileged children in the Springfield area. Its members include men and women. This club's annual fundraiser is the Grin-Iron Classic - an all-star, high school football game featuring Senior All-Stars from more than 50 area schools. This club currently meets the 4th Thursday of each month for a 7 a.m. breakfast meeting.
H.O.L.A. Sertoma Club
Helping Others in Latin America Club is a men's and women's club chartered on 5/7/09 by the Springfield Sertoma Club. Primary Sponsorship is the Medical & Educational needs for people in Latin America. This club currently meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m.
P.L.A.Y. Sertoma Club
PLAY Sertoma Club of Joplin MO, which stands for People Leading Active Youth was chartered by Queen City Sertoma in 2010.  President Mary Anne Rose met with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest MO and it was decided that a Sertoma Club would be a good fit to help raise funds for the club.  Debra Shelton served as the B.A.N.C. Ambassador and is a dual member today. In 1941 Joplin Sertoma Club actually chartered Springfield Sertoma Club. That club died out over the years, and Queen City brought Sertoma back to the Joplin area.
PLAY supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest MO through various fundraisers including Bunco and Bingo. It is a co-ed club with 20 members. Sertoma has provided new score boards for the gym, a commercial freezer for the kitchen, remodeled the concession stand, and has provided scholarships to kids for the summer program.  PLAY participates in Sertoma programs such as Safe Ears and National Heritage.
Code 3 Sertoma:
This men's and women's club was chartered on 10/14/11 by Sertoma Club of Springfield. The primary sponsorship of this club is to support the Emergency Services Organizations in Springfield and Greene County (police, fire, ambulance).
CCCC Sertoma:
Supporting Christian County Children's Charities, this men's and women's club was chartered on 4/20/12 by the Heart of the Ozarks Sertoma Club. This club meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. in Nixa.

There is power in numbers and while each Sertoma Club works to fulfill a specific need within the Ozarks communities we serve - we work together on larger projects such as Sertoma's Chili Cook-Off and Christmas to Remember!
